Halloween Fun!!!

This is Hilary's helper Bridgette on the left, she is so wonderful!! We all think she looks like Hilary too. We are at Grammy's work in this picture, they do trick or treat there and we always go and load up before the big night.

Edward Scissor Hands...

We had a lot of fun on Halloween. The kids got too much candy like always but it was fun going to all of our usual places to trick-or-treat. We hit Grammy's work, then Trunk-or-Treat at the church then the hood. Matt was the hit being Edward Scissor Hands, Dylan was Dr. Suess (sort of), Hilary a bumble bee, Hunter a skull ninja, and Drew "da Hulk".

Hunter loses a tooth!!

Hunter lost his second tooth over the weekend in Provo. He seems to like to lose his teeth while we are up North. This time Dylan knocked it out while wrestling. The first one fell out while eating a burger at Carls Jr. and was never retrieved, if you know what I mean...

Dylan's Birthday, etc...

OK, so it's been months, SORRY!! There's so much to tell but it's late and I'm too tired so here are the highlights. If anyone has any great blog tips on how to arrange pictures where you want them I would love some advice. It never works how I want it to!

*Dylan's birthday, yes he is 14!!! CRAZY, how could this be!! He is such a good boy and we are so blessed and grateful to have him in our family and lives. He had a fun day, we went to Lazer Mania and he enjoyed shooting all of the neighbor kids. His friend Aubrey decorated his room really cute as a surprise. Grammy took him for ice cream after school. We also went out to dinner that night which made him too full and sick for dessert but oh well. He got some money and had fun shopping with it. Still doesn't care for a cell phone so don't be expecting any texting from him just yet!!

*My 20 year class reunion!! It was a lot of fun, Molly did a great job and it was so fun seeing everyone. I felt like everyone looked the same, well at least the girls did. Some of the guys looked a lot older than Matt (who has us by 4 years being class of 85) but that's just my opinion.

*Babysitting little Kinzey is a blast, she is so cute and we are really enjoying her. The boys are sad when she doesn't come every day. We get her Thursday and Friday.

*Hunter learned how to ride a two wheeler, he is so excited!! He is growing up so fast and learning so much this year is is amazing!

*Bridgette!!!! Or should I say my gift from heaven? We were able to hire a wonderful helper for Hilary and our family. She is from South Carolina and has the best accent. She has been so good for Hilary and she even looks like she could be Hilary's sister. I'll send photos when I get one of the two of them. We all love her but mostly I do I think!!

I know there is more but can't think anymore tonight, I'll try to do better at updating.

Baby Kinzey is here!!

Gubba sent me a text wanting to know info about our newest baby girl. I figured the best way to get the info out was through our blog. Hope all you Palfreyman's will pass on the news to those who do not blog. She is SOOOOOO cute!! She was born July 30 at around 8:30am. She weighed 6 lbs 14 oz (same as her Aunt Marcee) and was 19.25 in. long. Her name is Kinzey Lou (and yes Aunt Marcee Lu is very proud!!) Trevor and Abbie are the cutes new parents!! They are so proud and love her so much. Grandma, Grandpa, Matt and I got to be there to see her just after she was born, it was so fun. Abbie did great!! Trevor did great too!! The doctor was late, the baby had to hang out and wait for him but he did get there in time, barely!

Camping...

We had a fun weekend camping on Cedar Mountain. We camped 2 nights. We drove in to Cedar City for Dylan's baseball tournament Friday and Saturday which worked out well. We caught a lot of fish and the little boys loved it. Drew keeps saying he wants to go fishing again. Dylan had fun playing baseball, the weather was great all weekend. We loved being in the mountains! Grandma and Grandpa Thorpe came up to visit us one night, the kids loved it. Grammy played Star Wars and guns with the kids which made their weekend!

Bryce Canyon Half Marathon

We did it!! To celebrate our 16th Anniversary we decided to run a half marathon.
We stayed in a fun Bed and Breakfast and got up and skipped the breakfast to run 13.1 miles. Who would've thought!! I sure wouldn't have. If you'd asked me 16 years ago I would have laughed at the idea. Anyway, we both had a great race and felt good enough to hike around 10 miles that same day. I couldn't walk for 2 days afterward though! We had a fun time and a big THANK YOU to Grammy and Grandpa and Megan for taking care of the 4 cute kids we've aquired over the last 16 years. We know what a big job it is with just Drew alone!!

Bunny Fun...

Our neighbor just moved and asked us to find a home for their bunnies. The kids had a lot of fun playing with them, they were cute and so little. The mom was an albino with red eyes and she had 3 babies. We just sent them away yesterday.

4th of July

We went to Aunt Rachelle's for a fun night of fire
works, the kids had a blast!

Early morning at the Balloon Fest, a fun tradition!

Cousin fun!

4th of July in Provo is the best!! We had a lot of fun being with Matt's family and also spending time with Melynda and Megan and their kids.

Seven Peaks Fun...

Yes, Drew has another owie!! This time no stitches,
we had it glued instead but it probably could have taken
a stitch or two. This time it was a bully in the Nursery.

As you can see swimming is our favorite summer
past time. We went to Seven Peaks while we were
in Provo over the 4th, it was a blast!! Melynda,
Noah, and Jonah went as well, it was so much fun!!

Swimming Lessons

Hunter and Drew just finished swimming lessons. They both did great and have improved so much. Hunter is doing really well on breathing between strokes and Drew is swimming on his own!! Their teacher truly works miracles!!

Our good friend Kristin taught them, she lives so close we can walk to her house, it's great.

Back Yard Grass

We Have Grass!!! It only took 5 years but we've got it!! Matt has done a great job with everything. He put in the whole sprinkler system including the drip system and planted so many plants and moved so many rocks, he deserves a break but probably won't get it!!

Pioneer Trek

Ma and Pa Edwards and the Edwards family...

We had great kids who pulled the cart the entire way. We also had an 8 pound baby made of sand (Lydia) that we each had to take turns carrying the entire time. It was hard but the kids never complained...what pioneers!!! We were also blessed with our Aunt Valerie, she was the best! We loved being Ma and Pa and loved our 10 kids, they were amazing and it was so fun getting to know all of them. We are already excited for Dylan to go in 4 years! The weather was perfect, not too hot in the day and not too cold at night. We slept under the stars 2 nights and it was great, it helps being so exhausted that you don't care where you are!
