Bryce Canyon Half Marathon

We did it!! To celebrate our 16th Anniversary we decided to run a half marathon.
We stayed in a fun Bed and Breakfast and got up and skipped the breakfast to run 13.1 miles. Who would've thought!! I sure wouldn't have. If you'd asked me 16 years ago I would have laughed at the idea. Anyway, we both had a great race and felt good enough to hike around 10 miles that same day. I couldn't walk for 2 days afterward though! We had a fun time and a big THANK YOU to Grammy and Grandpa and Megan for taking care of the 4 cute kids we've aquired over the last 16 years. We know what a big job it is with just Drew alone!!

Happy Anniversary! What a great way to celebrate. I have always wanted to try a marathon. Maybe I will give it a try sometime. A ten mile hike afterwards, impressive!

So many questions to you runners. I will say this you look like a million bucks and the running is for sure doing wonders for your HOT body!!!! You look so fit!! I am jealous. We would love to come and play I will have to talk to the hubby and see what we can work out. Sorry this is so long!!!

Impressive!!!! Wow that is awesome, Great job!! Can yo believe we have been married this long Marcee. I wonder how long your parents had been married when we were young and having our Palfrey/thorpey olympics around the block at the old duplex. Not nearly 16 years I am sure. What a trip!!, Do you remember the olympics we did with the little medals and everything. WOW now your running 1/2 marathons.
